This is a great looking, chunky piece that would be great for either sex! This ain't no sissy necklace.

The chain is 15.5" including the clasp, and includes two pieces of heavy vintage silver curb chain from an ID bracelet bought in 1972. The chain is in excellent condition but shows normal wear for a 40 year old piece of jewelry. The rest of the chain is anodized aluminum double-ring chainmail in dark bronze and silver, which really complements the ammonite beautifully.

The ammonite itself is a very rich, dark amber color with a crystalline matrix in the chambers. It's roughly 1.5" from top to bottom.

On either side of the ammonite is a fossil Sand Tiger shark tooth wrapped with sterling silver wire.

Below you can see roughly where the necklace falls when worn. This could be extended if you'd like it a little longer or if you just need a larger size.

This ammonite necklace is 18" including the large, secure clasp.

The focal point is the beautiful burnt-orange ammonite pendant with crystalline matrix in the chambers. The pendant has been edge wrapped in sterling silver and attaches to the necklace on a sterling bail. The fossil, without the bail, is 1.75" x 1.5"

The necklace is handmade chainmail using very sturdy anodized aluminum jump rings. The larger rings are a champagne color, the smaller rings are dark bronze. Both colors complement the ammonite very nicely.

Octopus with pearls and coral necklace $110

Octopi are fascinating, intelligent little creatures. If you have a soft spot in your heart for them like I do, this octopus necklace is for you.

Mama octopi lay their eggs so that they dangle from the ceiling of hidden chamber. She then guards them and keeps them lightly aerated until they hatch. She doesn't eat during this time and weakens and dies shortly after the babies have all flown the coop.

I used a little artistic license in designing my necklace. The pearls, including glass, freshwater and plastic, are of varying sizes for impact and interest. I also included some pink coral pieces to complement the color of the octopus pendant.

The necklace is 16.5" hematite closed-link donut chain and fastens with a lobster claw clasp for a finished length of 17". The pendant falls at about clavicle level, as you can see in the photos.

The octopus pendant is glass and should be treated as such, although it certainly seems to be a sturdy little piece. The pendant itself is 2" long from the back of her head to the tip of her extended front arms.

A high quality double-link, sterling silver bracelet was used to create this lethal beauty. It is stamped "Italy" and with the purity rating of .925. The original bracelet is 7" long and I have added sterling silver jump rings for those of you, like me, with slightly larger wrists or who might want the bracelet to dangle a little more loosely. The bracelet may now be clasped anywhere from around 7" to almost 8". The bracelet can be clasped easily and securely with the oversized oval spring clasp (shown above).

The four charms included are:

This seahorse-pendant necklace is a fun, colorful, bold piece of jewelry.

The seahorse is handmade from durable borosilicate glass using lampworking techniques and is properly kiln annealed for strength and durability. He measures 1.75" wide by 2.75" high.

The rhodium plated rollo chain necklace is 17" long and closes easily and securely with a large sterling silver lobster clasp.

The bird's nest coral has been cut so that the sharp tips are no longer a threat. To help protect both the coral and your skin or clothing it was sealed in a water-resistant glaze and then double coated with a crystal clear spray finish. Each piece is roughly 3" long and 1.5" deep. In other words, when you have this necklace on the coral sticks out just about an inch and a half at its deepest point.

This jellyfish is floating near the surface of the ocean, with streams of gleaming bubbles rising around it.

The pendant is very sturdy, solid borosilicate glass, and the jellyfish is extremely detailed and delicate looking. Pictures don't do these pendants justice.

The pendant, aqua-blue shimmering stones, and Swarovski crystals and pearls are on curved memory wire attached to Rhodium Plated Rollo Chain. The necklace closes easily and securely with a large sterling-silver oval trigger clasp.

This is a simple yet eye-catching piece.

The octopus is glass and is 2" long from the tip of his head to the tip of his extended tentacles. It's a beautiful dark blue with green highlights and little black eyes.

The necklace is a closed-link, hematite donut-chain -- a standout in itself. It closes with a very sturdy lobster clasp that is easy to get open and closed securely.

There are a mix of genuine Swarovski crystals used in the necklace - light blue bicones, 2AB crystal bicones, and large crystal rounds - for lots of sparkle to complement the octopus pendant and necklace.

NASA, astronomy and space-themed bracelet. $245

I crafted this bracelet for myself when I realized there was not much jewelry available for ladies who are interested in space, astronomy and the NASA program.

The bracelet, all but one of the charms, and all of the findings (headpins, split rings, etc.) used to assemble it are .925 Sterling Silver.

There is one lampwork charm that I couldn't resist including. I like to call it "Moonrise over Jupiter." It was created by Candice at beadgoodies on Etsy, although she calls them "Midnight."

The bracelet also includes an assortment of Swarovski crystal beads. I used AB Stars, bicone slate blue beads, and AB Crystal rounds for glitter and shine.

The bracelet is 7" long and I have included split rings on one end to extend that to 7.5" if needed. It closes with a lobster clasp.

This is a delicate looking but substantial bracelet. The Earth charm is by Fossil, is fairly heavy and opens to reveal a tiny peace symbol attached inside on a tiny, tiny chain. The other charms are solid sterling silver and include a shooting star, a telescope on a tripod, the space shuttle, a tiny comet with stars, and a NASA meatball charm.

My God... It's full of stars! Vintage 3-D Bowl of Night planisphere. ($40 US + $20 Shipping) SOLD

This planisphere would be a great gift for a budding astronomer or anyone who enjoys star gazing. For that matter, even if you hate astronomy it makes a very nice display, and you'll look like a brainiac to all your friends.

This item is vintage. I originally bought it in either the very late '70s or very early '80s. The instruction booklet has seen better days but is complete and readable.

There are a couple small blemishes on the acrylic from normal usage and display. I don't see any wrinkles on it, so it's actually weathered the last 30 years better than I have. Please feel free to contact me if you would like more detailed photos of the bowl emailed to you.

The Bowl of Night has a 14" diameter and sits roughly 12" to 14" high.

There are only three of these works of art in existence . I personally GIMPed this design, so I know of what I speak. The watermark with my name and the year is not printed on the shirt. If you want a photo of the finished product that I will ship to you, drop me an email and I'll send off a picture of the actual shirt. These shirts turned out great!

They are digitally printed on men's XL Hanes Beefy T-shirts. The shirts are 6.1 oz. 100% preshrunk ringspun cotton and run true to size.
